In 2016, I CAN 4 ISAAC began as an idea after hearing “Isaac Can’t” just one too many times. I knew Isaac’s challenges and knew them well – and as his momma – I had grieved them personally. Still, I believe that God created Isaac intentionally and I know that every human has worth.
Isaac has worth and purpose. You have worth and purpose. Together we can do great things. |
We started a facebook page for Isaac to show the world that he could… inspire. We helped him video good morning greetings to give folks a smile as they began their day. He started with just a few likes and grew to over 1000 new friends from all over the world who eagerly anticipated each new video that ended with a smile and a backwards wave and Isaac’s warm greeting, “Love You Friends! Bye!”
Everyday, we challenged ourselves to think of new things Isaac could do. We partnered with Isaac’s FaceBook friends and began together to actively share love. Isaac helped people consider all the wonderful ways we CAN change our world by generously sharing kindnesses instead of becoming overshadowed by the challenges of what may sometimes seem overwhelming.
I Can 4 Isaac is a non profit organization that promotes the inclusion and access of everyone to their communities and believes that everyone can contribute to and improve their own communities. Click here to see our current projects and how you can help.
